Welcome to the album list maker!
Version: Final Demo 1.09.4
This little app lets you create lists of albums to listen to (using already-made music charts) and keep your progress with them. The site already comes with some of the most famous charts incorporated to retrieve albums from, but you can also create and use your own chart too! See "CSV Creator" below.
How do I use this mess?
First, check the boxes of the music charts from where you want to retrieve albums to build your list. If you're looking for more specific things, pick some genres and/or descriptors (separated with commas) to use as filters. After that, click the "I'm feeling lucky!" button to let the algorithm prepare the list and show it for you.
What does the algorithm do?
It picks albums (from a .csv file I personally created) based on the choices you made in the options menu, arrange them in the form of a list, randomize their order and then show you a new menu from where you can track your progress of the list created. Pretty simple but useful I guess.
Other info I should know?
The app uses genres based on the ones found in rateyourmusic, and descriptors too.
You can always access this info box again by clicking on the question mark button located in one of the corners.
